The Kian X600 is a new Iranian tank transporter. It was created in Iranian military vehicles repair facility. This vehicle was first publicly revealed in 2021. It is a rebadged and militarized version of the Volvo FMX 8x8 tractor truck. The Volvo FMX heavy-duty truck is available both for commercial and military use. Most likely that Iran acquired commercial vehicles and modified them for military use.

The Kian X600 is one most powerful heavy equipment transporters, operated by Iran. Its main role is to transport tanks and other tracked armored vehicles to the frontline. It can also carry construction materials and other loads.

The truck has a sleeper cab. It accommodates driver and co-driver. Sleeper bunks can transformed info seats to carry crew of the armored vehicle.

The Volvo FMX 8x8 was proposed with a turbocharged diesel engine, developing 540 hp, though other engine options were also available. So it is likely that he Kian X600 uses this engine. Engine is mated to an automatic gearbox. Even though this tractor truck has some degree of cross-country mobility, it was mainly designed to operate on hard surface roads. The Volvo FMX series vehicles lack off road mobility of purpose-designed tactical tank transporters.
