The IVECO
Daily is a successful light commercial vehicle, produced since 1978.
Various militarized versions of the Daily are being proposed for
military customers. Most recent are the 4th generation vehicles,
produced between 2006-2011 and 5th generation vehicles, produced
between 2011-2014. The latest are the 6th generation vehicles,
produced since 2014. Militarized versions of the Daily are in
service with some countries.
Even though
it is by no means a tactical vehicle, the IVECO Daily can be used by
various paramilitary units and law enforcement forces. The Daily is
available with 4x2 and 4x4 configurations. The latest 6th generation
Daily has a payload capacity ranging from 1 300 to 3 500 kg. Various
wheelbase lengths are available. In some cases these militarized
vehicles are basically standard commercial vans, just painted in
military flat paint.
The IVECO
Daily is available with numerous types of cabs and bodies. These
include a double crew cab, minibus, van with a box body, flatbed
troop/cargo carrier. Vehicle can be also fitted with specialized
platforms or equipment. Vehicle can also tow light trailers.

latest 6th generation is available with 2.3- or 3-liter diesel
engine. Their power output ranges from 106 to 205 hp. Manual and
automatic transmissions are available. The Daily with a 4x4
configuration has raised axles with increased ground clearance. It
has some degree of cross-country mobility and can travel over rugged
terrain, damaged roads, tracks and snow. Though it is mainly
intended to be used on hard surface roads. Off-road mobility of this
vehicle is limited by its commercial nature.
