The Achleitner Carrier is an Austrian light utility vehicle with 4x4 configuration. It was developed by Franc Achleitner company, which develops and produces various specialist vehicles, including armored ones. Some of their products are designed for security companies, as well as law enforcement forces and military. The Achleitner Carrier is based on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with all-wheel drive system. It can be seen as a newer version of Achleitner Mantra. The Carrier is being proposed to various customers.

The Carrier is a logistical vehicle with a payload capacity of 2 500 kg. It fits the gap between jeeps and light trucks. In concept it is similar to IVECO M70.20WM and some other militarized vehicles, based on standard commercial vans. It accommodates driver, co-driver, plus 6-8 passengers in the rear cargo area. Vehicle can also carry and various supplies. This vehicle can also tow trailers and light artillery pieces. It is likely that different types of bodies, specialized platforms and equipment, as well as various weapon systems, can be fitted depending on customer requirements.

The Achleitner carrier can be fitted with an armored cab. It provides some degree of protection for the driver and co-driver against small arms fire and artillery shell splinters.

The Carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz turbocharged diesel engine, developing 205 hp. Automotive components are readily available due to popularity of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter commercial van. The Achleitner Carrier has a full-time 4x4 configuration. Axles have been raised comparing with a standard commercial Sprinter in order to increase ground clearance and off-road mobility. This vehicle and has some degree of cross-country mobility, though it is limited due to commercial nature of the platform. The Carrier is mainly intended to be used on hard surface roads, though it can also travel over tracks or snow. A self-recovery winch can be fitted.

The Achleitner Carrier can be airlifted by a C130 Hercules or similar tactical transport aircraft.
